LOL: Faker and T1 exceed one of the best rosters in history with an unprecedented record in the LCK

Let's go back to 2015 . At that time, Skt T1 was not only the best team in South Korea, but also the best team in the world that has been seen in League of Legends . During the World Cups, we will have to wait for the Final to see them lose a single game, against their best rivals: Koo Tigers. Your performance in this tournament still deserves to be remembered, Well, it inherits a relatively easy group with the Bangkok Titans (classified by the Wildcards Series), H2K (second European team, but without experience in the international scenario) and Edg (which did not really impress during these championships).

Even the final stages are quite favorable for them, defeating AHQ in the quarterfinals and then the origin in the semifinals. What will call the attention of analysts is his streak of 23 games without losing in the LCK. A record that remained undefeated to date despite his perfect in spring, but which fell this afternoon, with its 23rd and 24th consecutive victories.

Style beaten record!

There is nothing more frustrating than a record that falls to a lower opponent. But we really can't consider DWG KIA as a Tender 2. The latter team tried everything to tear down the Spring Spring winners, and their defeats were overwhelming. In the first round, the team wanted to focus their efforts on Nuguri and his biting. The plan seemed to go well, and at the start of the game they even took a slight advantage. Only the macro and the T1 team fights allowed them to overcome and win.

They didn't even have so many opportunities in the second game. ** While they chose to bet on skirmishes strong with the Picks of Twisted Fate and Nocturne, Faker's Galio managed to counteract most of his ambush., who put the team very well on the way to be present in 2 deaths and an ocean dragon, all before 6 minutes of departure.

LS

Is it as impressive as your former record?

While the numbers do not lie, you have to put things in context. With its previous record, the LCK was undoubtedly the strongest league on the planet, and beating Korean teams seemed very unlikely. Today things are more complicated, because the LPL is stalking and bursting the Best teams in the world outside of China. Defeated in the MSI final, it is difficult to consider objectively to the T1 as the best team in the world. The issue can be discussed (after all until the best can lose a game), but it is impossible to be as categorical as in 2015. The record has fallen, but the road is still long , because in the end only only They will count the playoffs for the classification of the World Cups.
