According to a known Pokémon historian named Dlavayt, there is evidence in the source code that Pokemon Pink existed in the past. Although the game was never released, it was perhaps intended to accompany Pokemon Yellow as a refreshment of mid-generation before being rebuilt. The source code of Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Yellow apparently reveals evidence of the loss of Pokemon Pink according to Drlavayt. While Pokemon Pink has been released on the Game Boy, Pokemon Sword & Shield was released exclusively on Nintendo Switch recently, with an extension pass adding new content to the two games.
"New Pokémon leak: there was a new leak of generation 1 development equipment, including a reference to Pokemon Pink, a possible abandoned companion of Yellow," said Drlavayt. "I tweeted songs today, but I will soon publish a full article on my site http://lavacutcontent.com. I'll keep you posted." Pokemon Pink would probably have followed Ash with a key similar to the original manga of the series, but instead, only Yellow came out, following the Pokemon anime. We do not currently know if Pokemon Pink would have followed the story of anime similar to Yellow or included his own story.
Although we are aware that the Anime Pokemon Original was intended to make Ash's adventure with his faithful Clefairy, it seems that it was changed both in anime and in the games if we believe Drlavayt. It would have been interesting to see a game Game Boy who contrasts with yellow as pink, similar to the release of Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee for Nintendo Switch. Pokemon's original source code was recently shared on 4CHANs and being the Pokemon Lost historian, Drlavayt has torn it for more information.
Would you have played in Pokemon Pink if he had joined Yellow on the Game Boy? Let us know in the comments below!
