As part of a December full of events, GO Pokémon players can participate in four weekly Spotlight hours again during the Christmas season. With favorites of the first generation and winter Ice-types this month is something for everyone, including the various bonuses that accompany each Spotlight Hour.
In this guide, we break each Pokémon appearing this month as part of the Spotlight Hour events, as well as the ways to get a coveted Shiny type during the sixty minutes.
Spotlight Hour schedule for December 2021
Each Spotlight Hour in December will be held 18:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time. This month all available Spotlight Hour Pokémon are available in great shape, so make the most of the increased spawns.
Elect abuzz — December 7
The first Spotlight Hour of the month belongs Electra buzz type Electric. You should catch as much as possible Elect abuzz before the end of the day, because the bonus for this Spotlight hour 2x candy transferred. There are not many faster ways to get candy for a certain Pokémon in this game, so use the full sixty minutes.
Magma — December 14,
