The fun racer Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the absolute long-running favorites for the Nintendo console and was expanded in mid-March with the first load of DLC routes. So it was only a matter of time before Nintendo also contributed to his modern classic in the online service Switch online-and in May with a whole series of user icons in the Mario Kart 8 design.
They should appear in several waves and in the course of May. This week it starts with a Mushroom Cup symbol and a Mario Kart icon, which you can then make in your user pictures in the corresponding menu. The offer of the icons should then change every week. The outlook shows, among other things, Toad in the racing driver overall and Bowser.
Do the icons cost something? Yes, 5 or 10 platinum each. You can find out how you can buy and create the user symbols in detail on the official Nintendo support page.
Mario Kart 8 just doesn't go out the fuel
Hard to believe: Mario Kart 8 for the Wii is already celebrating his eighth birthday this year. The deluxe version for Nintendo's current console was able to top this again by packing all the DLCs available until then and also doing other small but fine innovations.
A real triumphal march followed, the title is one of the best-selling switch games ever and will be considered with several other DLC routes by the end of 2023.
